The former director of the Pedro Sánchez Cabinet says that he was not informed of the movement of the PSOE and Ciudadanos to remove López Miras from the presidency of the Community, which made him come to the conclusion that “he had to close a stage”
The former director of the Cabinet of President Pedro Sánchez, Iván Redondo, affirmed this Wednesday that for him, Sánchez “is past” and has indicated that the Second Vice President and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, may be President of the Government because she is the Preferred candidate of voters under 45 years of age.
In an interview in Espejo Público, Redondo said about his departure from the Government of Spain this summer that he was not informed from the PSOE about the motion of censure that they tried to carry out in the Government of the Region of Murcia, something that
made him come to the conclusion that he should “close a stage”.
Redondo said about his goodbye to the Prime Minister that his departure was communicated to Sánchez on May 5, the day after the elections in the Community of Madrid that Isabel Díaz Ayuso won. In addition, he pointed out that this could have occurred in two previous moments because he did not feel “accepted”, “loved” or “listened to” despite having “given everything” and “won everything.”
The former director of the Cabinet of the President of the Government of Spain indicated that professional secrecy remains between Sánchez and him, that he will not be from outside “whispering to anyone”, since he is going to take at least a year off. “What happens in a locker room stays in a locker room” and “it must be like that,” he added.
