Today Thursday May 30the first tropical wave it’s from the season will enter Mexico, affecting the Yucatan Peninsula and then to Quintana Roo. This meteorological phenomenon will bring heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusts of wind which will range between 40 and 50 km/h.
Civil Protection of Quintana Roo has issued a notice detailing that the displacement of the Tropical Wave on the southern portion of the Yucatan Peninsula will increase cloudiness, generating rains scattered and occasional showers. These effects will be felt mainly in the south of the state, where a hot daytime environment will be recorded.
During the early morning and dawn, winds from the east and southeast will maintain gusts of 40 to 50 km/h, especially in coastal areas.
Impact on other states
Others state also will feel the effects of the first Tropical Wave of the year. It is expected to affect with intervals of showers and rains strong points to Coahuila, Oaxaca and Chiapas. Likewise, intervals of showers are expected in Nuevo León, Zacatecas, Durango and Jaliscoand Isolated rains in Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Nayarit, Colima, Michoacán, State of Mexico, Mexico City and Campeche.
