Adama Taoré has become the third winter reinforcement of FC Barcelona. The Spanish winger arrives on loan from Wolverhampton until the end of the season and will defend the Barça shirt again six and a half years after his departure.
Traoré was trained in the lower categories of Barcelona and came to play four games with the first team. His debut was on November 23, 2013 in a League match against Granada and the last one on January 15, 2015 in the return leg of the Copa del Rey round of 16 against Elche where the azulgranas won 0-4 . The Spanish player started and spent 62 minutes on the pitch before being substituted.
In these six and a half years there have been many changes at FC Barcelona at all levels. The day of his last game, Josep María Bartomeu was the president of the club. And also the one who decided to transfer him to Aston Villa, and now he returns from the hand of Joan Laporta.
Luis Enrique was on the bench that January 15, 2015 and now he will be under the orders of Xavi Hernández who was the team captain at that time.
In that game, Barcelona’s starting eleven was made up of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen in goal; Martin Montoya, Mark Bartra, Jeremy Mathieu Y Hadrian in defence; Gerard Gumbau, Sergio Robert Y Rafinha in midfield and up front Pedro Rodriguez, Munir Elhaddadi and his own Adama Traore.
In the second half, Douglas entered the pitch for Montoya and Alen Halilovic for Adama, both in the 62nd minute.
As it was a Cup match, Luis Enrique started with the least usual. However, in that Barcelona squad for the 2014/2015 season were Claudio Bravo, Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, Andrés Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic, Xavi, Neymar, Leo Messi and Luis Suárez among others.
