For a long time, the players of The Elder Scrolls Online have requested that this popular MMORPG have support in Spanish. Well, the team in charge of its maintenance, ZeniMax Online Studiosannounced that it will be this year that this option will be available.
For now it will be in Spanish and from June 6 in the versions for PC, Mac and Google Stadia. On the 21st of that month it will be available in the Xbox Y PlayStation.
This is how Spanish will join the languages already available, such as English, German, French, Russian and Japanese. Specifically, support for this language will come to versions of Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass,PC/MAC, Google Stadia, Playstation 4 Y Playstation 5.
This is how both the last generation consoles and the new one will receive it. How far will the translation go in the game? It is something that should be known.
This is how the voices of the characters in The Elder Scrolls Onlinee will remain in English, but will have subtitles that will make what they say much more understandable. This addition to the game was highlighted by Rich Lambertcreative director of ZeniMax Online Studios.
In this regard he commented ‘we have seen how the gaming community in Spanish has grown over the years, and it is clear what they want’. So the demand is present.
The voices of the game will continue in English
Lambert added to the above ‘the truth is that we are excited about the possibility of offering the translation into this language to the community, and we want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been part of it over the years’.
While the option to play with Spanish support will be available, players can choose any of the other languages to enjoy the game. It is not something that is 100% mandatory.
Although the support in Spanish of The Elder Scrolls Online is a welcome feature, hopefully ZeniMax Online Studios Evaluate adding texts in Latin Spanish.
Many players in Latin America prefer to play that way. Perhaps it is something that is contemplated for later. As disclosed by the company, there are currently more than 19 million users of this title that has been available for seven years.
