Robert Eggersdirector of the recently critically acclaimed “The Northman”, confessed that he only went to the cinema to see “The Batman” because Robert Pattinson it was on tape. The American filmmaker, who maintains a friendly relationship with the actor, worked alongside the new Bruce Wayne in the surreal horror film “The Lighthouse.”
In an interview with The Guardian, the creative genius behind films like “The Witch” and “The Lighthouse” confessed that he had low expectations, but that the film surprised him.

“I really watched it only because Rob (Pattinson) is my friend. But I liked him, and I learned a lot of things from him frankly.”Eggers revealed.

Robert Eggers and Robert Pattinson worked together in 2019 on “The lighthouse”, a black and white film where Rob and the chameleon Willem Dafoe share the screen for almost 2 hours.
