The wave of contagion by the Omicron variant has caused global economies to record records of increases in consumer prices and product shortages, in addition to maintaining disorder in the supply chain and inflation impacting several countries. Ómicron has also affected the airline industry: thousands of flights canceled due to lack of crew, lack of flight equipment in optimal conditions, and flights suspended to and from the United States due to the high number of infections.
The Omicron variant of the coronavirus continues its unstoppable advance throughout the world. The increase in cases of contagion has risen dramatically, mainly affecting Europe, the United States and Asia.
