The Art of Knowledge marathon has come to an end in St. Petersburg. About this on Thursday, November 25, informs press service of the “Knowledge” society.
During the marathon, spectators and speakers discussed current topics of Russian culture, art and the image of Russia in the historical and modern world.
Famous musicians, designers, TV presenters, artists, heads of museums and statesmen took part in open discussions and lectures. The final day of the marathon ended with a broadcast of an excursion around the Peterhof Museum-Reserve together with the director of the museum Elena Kalnitskaya.
“Knowledge and understanding of the culture, art, history of one’s country is extremely important for every person. They encourage him to think, to be interested in others. And given that the audience of our events is on average more youthful, we try to present rather complex topics through the personalities of the speakers and their stories. It seems to me that the number of views and questions from viewers confirms that we have chosen the right format, “said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Knowledge Society.
The event was organized in partnership with the Russian Military Historical Society with the support of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum and the Dostoevsky lecture hall.
In July, Dreval announced that the organization would host a League of Lecturers competition in 2021. According to him, the society wants to “annually reward the coolest lecturers, companies, universities, schools – those who have made the greatest contribution to educational activities.”
