On display at Galeria Bergamin & Gomide, in São Paulo, until December 4, the exhibition Nosso Norte é o Sul is inspired by the Andes. The selection has textile pieces produced by the Incas, Huari and Nazca cultures to show how geometric patterns influenced the production of avant-garde artists in Latin America.
Among them are Brazilians Lygia Clark and Amilcar de Castro, Italian-Brazilian Alfredo Volpi and Mexican Héctor Zamora. The pieces can be seen in the www.bergamingomide.com.br
