Several people were injured this Friday after A truck intentionally crashed into a Department of Security office Public in Texas (United States).
According to authorities, the events occurred around 10:41 am, local time, in Brenham, a town west of Houston.
Fox News reported that The 18-wheeler that crashed into the Department of Security office had been previously stolen and that the driver crashed the vehicle on purpose because officials at that center had denied him a driver's license a few days ago.
“The suspect was denied a driver's license yesterday (Thursday). He returned today with intent to do harm,” said Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough.
Fox News claims that At least 16 people were injured by falling debris from the building. Three of them had serious injuries and were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
The images show that the truck demolished a good part of the facade of the place. Significant damage is also seen on the front of the vehicle.
According to authorities, the suspect – whose identity has not been revealed – is already in custody to answer for the crash. The driver, according to local media, refused to receive medical treatment after the incident.
