Sweden | One died and one was seriously wounded in a shooting incident in Malmö

One one person died and another was seriously injured in the shooting that took place in the Emporia shopping center in Malmö, Sweden, early yesterday evening.

Swedish newspaper Expressen by a 15-year-old boy has been arrested as a suspect in the shooting.

According to Expressen, the dead victim was a leader in the motorcycle gang Satudarah’s sub-organization called Assassins, or assassins in Finnish. The newspaper says that the gang was involved in a bloody conflict in Malmö’s underworld against another criminal organization.

Originally from the Netherlands, Satudarah MC has also operated in Finland since 2017. The Helsinki Court of Appeal confirmed that it meets the definition of an organized criminal group in 2019 in a trial against gang members.

Expressen says that the victim who died in the shooting had a criminal record and convictions in drug and assault cases. The magazine by the victim had been in the audience just hours before his death at a trial in which three of his subordinates were charged in another shooting incident.

In Aftonbladet magazine it is saidthat the police do not rule out the possibility that more factors are involved in the case.
