Love for Motorsport, competitive spirit and absolute dedication to customers, including the sports one: these are the levers that push Suzuki to create the Rally Cup one-make trophy, which reaches its 15th edition in 2022. Also in this new season the House of Hamamatsu will be a great protagonist of the national rally scene with a championship that offers a simple and successful formula.
The series promoted and organized by Suzuki in collaboration with the Emmetre Racing team gives everyone fun and excitement at reasonable costs, allowing fans to try their hand at high-level races with the aim not only of having fun but also of winning a rich prize pool. In 2022, the single-brand store will be divided into eight races that will take place from early March to mid-November, plying the streets of the most famous and challenging rallies on the Italian scene.
An equal challenge
In the Rally Cup we find the values that Suzuki expresses in the world of two- and four-wheeled competitions. The series aims to bring out healthy competition and the desire to excel by giving the best of oneself, respecting the rules and the opponents. As per tradition, the thrilling fight between the protagonists of the Suzuki Rally Cup will take place on equal terms. Competitors will be able to take part in races with different types of cars, always reliable and competitive.

At the start will be admitted:
– SUZUKI Swift Sport Hybrid set up with the specifications of the National Hybrid Rally5 Technical Regulations, with epicyclic differential (Quaife), standard electronic control unit (ECU) and original six-speed gearbox.
– SUZUKI Swift BoosterJet 1.0 Fiche n ° 0042 prepared with the specifications of the R1 Group.
– SUZUKI Swift Sport 1600 set up with the specifications of the national R5 Group.
– SUZUKI BoosterJet 1.0 (Swift / Baleno) with Racing Start specifications.
All models are light and robust, very sensitive to tuning and have characteristics that enhance the driving skills and sensitivity of the pilots and reward the most skilled crews from time to time. To even more uniform the level of performance, all the cars of the Suzuki Rally Cup will have to mount the same Toyo tires in the asphalt races.
Eight prestige races
With a great balance of values on the field, the Suzuki Rally Cup 2022 promises lots of show and intense emotions at every appointment. The eight Suzuki single-make races will be held concurrently with some of the most famous and demanding rallies on the Italian scene. Participants in the Suzuki trophy will be able to try their hand and compete on legendary tracks, professionally set up and with the utmost attention to safety by highly experienced organizations. The Rally Cup represents a unique opportunity for young rally drivers who aim to shine and refine their skills, as well as for gentlemen drivers eager to compare themselves with the best specialists.

A rich prize pool
The Suzuki Rally Cup 2022 will award important cash prizes and numerous awards to those who stand out in the many categories provided for by the regulation. For the purposes of the rankings, the six best results of each competitor will be taken into consideration, who will therefore have two discards available. The points thus obtained will be added to those assigned by the Power Stages of each race.
The total prize money amounts to 125,000 Euros and the following table shows the main prizes in Euros foreseen for the drivers’ classification.

The Suzuki Rally Cup 2022 also awards prizes of 5,000 and 3,000 euros for the first two classified among the Under 25 drivers and three further prizes of 4,000, 2,000 and 1,000 euros for the best in the ranking reserved for Swift Sport 1600 and Swift 1.0 BoosterJet R1 .
Another 1,000 Euros will be attributed to the first among the navigators and to the concessionaire who will support the winner of the absolute ranking for the purchase of spare parts, on which, among other things, the House grants a discount of up to 20% to all participants. On the other hand, a chronograph is intended for the best Over 50 rider.
To these amounts are added the race prizes for each individual test, equal to 1,500 Euros for the winner of the absolute ranking and 1,000 for the winner of the Racing Start category.

A trophy accessible to all
The Suzuki Rally Cup is a single-brand trophy with a simple formula and affordable costs, the maximum expression for those who want to have fun participating in respectable competitions without having to incur high costs. The registration fee amounts to 500 Euros + VAT for riders who have raced in Suzuki trophies and 1,000 Euros + VAT for new members. In the first case, the competitor receives a sticker kit to apply to the car, two Suzuki Motorsport customized sweatshirts / jackets, two customized polo shirts, a mechanic overalls and two Toyo caps. In the second case, a HRX fireproof suit with Suzuki logo is added to the package. Registration for the trophy is free for navigators, who can also purchase the aforementioned fireproof suit at a special price, if they do not already have one with Suzuki graphics.
