Sheikha Muhammad Al-Khateri obtained the Asian accreditation in the field of arbitration to become the first Emirati referee in the sport of bow and arrow among 55 referees from 16 countries in the Asian continent, in an important step that enhances the strategy of the Board of Directors of the Federation to qualify the referees, and qualify them to obtain continental accreditation in the field of arbitration, and open The prospects for development are in front of them and support their career path to achieve the sustainability of the visions and ideas from which the Federation is based, to reach the best outcomes that lead to the development and expansion of the game.
Sheikha Al-Khateri is considered one of the 4 judges within the board of directors’ plan to give them the opportunity to obtain continental accreditation, by participating in specialized workshops and training courses to reach the required outputs, within the vision of future development.
Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi, President of the Bow and Arrow Association, stressed the importance of developing national cadres, and keenness on all outputs that pave the way for translating their strategic vision, to develop all corners of the game, work to achieve the desired goals, develop the performance of referees, and help them complete participation in arbitration courses.
He added: We are well aware of the importance of working on empowering arbitration cadres, and consolidating the value of arbitration development, because this thing represents one of the important pillars that help us move forward on the path of development, and work on all the data that leads us to enhance the status of the game, and improve results in all areas.
For his part, Fahd Salem Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Bow and Arrow Association, valued the vision of the Board of Directors in developing and promoting the arbitration elements, and cooperating with the AFC, friendly and brotherly federations in everything that enhances the development that the federation seeks to advance the game, and said that this trend is in line with The development strategy that the board of directors is working on to reach the game’s desired goals.
In turn, Sheikha Al Khatri expressed her thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the Emirates Archery Federation for its efforts in developing the game and creating an environment that supports their aspirations and elevates them to the level of development in the field of arbitration, and said that such steps would open the door to achieving national achievements. And spreading the game on a large scale, especially with the availability of good talent and high capabilities.
It is noteworthy that the Bow and Arrow Association hosted during the period from 11 to 13 June this year, the Continental Arbitration Course and Conference 2022 at Centro Hotel Sharjah, which is organized by the Asian Football Confederation, for the first time in the region, with the participation of 55 referees from 16 countries in Asia, along with a group of Rulers affiliated with the Arab and African regions.
