Dorna and the FIM have presented the draft of the 2022 World Superbike calendar, which currently includes 13 appointments, one of which has yet to be confirmed both in terms of dates and locations.
The season will kick off on the weekend of 10 April at Motorland Aragon, while the final date of the championship is currently unknown, because Phillip Island remains to be confirmed, positioned however at the bottom of the calendar, followed only by the pending stage.
The World Cup will take place all over Europe for the first nine rounds, so until 9 October. Subsequently, three appointments are planned outside the old continent, in Argentina, Indonesia and Australia.
The Italian stage will once again be that of Misano, scheduled for 10-12 June. There is no trace instead of Imola, which at one point had hoped to be able to welcome the production derivatives back in 2022.
The double appointment in Portugal is also confirmed for next year, where we will stop in Estoril on the weekend of 22 May and then in Portimao in October. Then there are the historic stages of Assen (April 22-24), Donington (July 15-17) and Magny-Cours (September 9-11). The rounds of Most (29-31 July) and Barcelona (23-25 September) were also confirmed.
