The city of São Paulo will host, as of today (20), the 1st International Expo Dia da Consciência Negra. The event, organized by the city, will be held from November 20th to 22nd at the West pavilion of Anhembi, in the North zone. Debates on culture, history and technology and musical performances are among the highlights of the program.
On Saturday (20), the discussions begin at 10 am, with “Fighting Racism between the present, the past and the future”, themes debated by Irene Vida Gala, Elisa Lucas, Kenia Maria, Judith Morrison, Edna Roland, Adriana Vasconcellos and Marta Suplicy. In the musical area, the main stage opens at 6 pm, with a show by Xande de Pilares, which receives Leci Brandão. In the sequence, the rapper Rael invites Rashid, Drik Barbosa and Bixarte for a performance.
According to the city hall, due to the covid-19 pandemic, it will be mandatory to wear a mask during the stay in the pavilion, and those present must present the vaccine passport (vaccination card or proof of applications ConnectSUS, Poupatempo Digital, or e-health SP). For those who have not yet taken the second dose, it will be necessary to present the RT-PCR test performed up to 48 hours before the event or the antigen, done up to two hours before entry.
