The sixth season of “Better Call Saul” arrived on Netflix on April 19. The spin-off series, starring Bob Odenkirk, premiered two episodes that have given much to talk about. The story of Saul Goodman, Kim Wexler, Nacho Varga and Lalo Salamanca will come to an end this year and the surprises, questions and theories that lead to “Breaking Bad” will finally have a resolution.
Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, creators of the series, have already confirmed that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will return in this last part. Therefore, here we tell you what impressions the premiere of the final season of the show left us.
A spoonful of “Breaking Bad”
In the opening scene, we realize that unlike all seasons past, this time we’re not seeing Gene Takovic in black and white from the Cinnabon where he works.
YOU CAN SEE: The brilliant cast of “Canterbury Glass”: Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, Rami Malek and more
Thus, the first chapter takes us to a moment just after “Breaking Bad”, where we see how Saul Goodman’s house is emptied after his escape from Albuquerque.
The brilliant montage shows how the famous lawyer led his life and everything seems to indicate that there is no trace of Kim Wexler anywhere.
It is not until the end of the scene that we see a small Vintage Sapphire lid that only bears the following question: “Was your wife, Kim, still around?”
YOU CAN SEE: “The Passion of the Christ 2”, what happened to the sequel confirmed by Mel Gibson?
In this way, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould again manage to give us important points, but without connecting them. The result? A satisfying intrigue that keeps us in the loop.
Wexler vs. Goodman
In this beginning of the season, just like chapter 6 of the fifth, it would seem that a confrontation was woven between Kim and Saul that, at the moment, is a controllable itch for Jimmy.
Saul, who is still a bit far from being the flamboyant lawyer we meet in “Breaking Bad,” doesn’t seem comfortable with his wife’s new attitudes.

It’s clear that the idea of sabotaging Howard doesn’t sit well with him and it takes him a bit out of his own comfort zone (which often crosses boundaries).
On the contrary, Kim seems to be swimming like a fish in water and is committed to carrying out the hit on her former partner to obtain a large sum of money.
However, there is something in this Wexler that does not fit Saul at all, because now he is capable of sinking a married couple in jail if they do not act in his favor.
YOU CAN SEE: “Thor 4″: who is Lady Thor, Natalie Portman’s new character?
An attitude that distances her from her moral side and even pushes her to be a kind of Heisenberg willing to destroy anything and anyone in order to win.
And this clash of attitudes generates a tension between both characters (which stays within Saul) and that could explode later in the series.
Nacho, a dangerous loose end
In this season, everything seems to indicate that Nacho will be the share of action in the series; a tension that is on a level with the Salamanca cousins chasing after Hank in “Breaking Bad”.
YOU CAN SEE: “Fantastic animals 3″: sequels would be canceled due to low box office
Thus, the first two episodes place Varga in each scene fleeing not only from his enemies, but practically from death itself.
The photography of the places he travels is impeccable and makes us feel the enormous danger in each movement he makes.
Within the Salamanca turf, he is caught between two great swords: Gustavo Fring and the Salamancas. Her only way out of it? Mike Ehrmantraut.

On the one hand, Fring knows that Nacho is a loose end that could destroy his entire plan. On the other hand, the Salamancas want to charge a “blood for blood” after the massacre of their relatives.
And as if the above were not enough, Lalo knows that he was the one who betrayed him and will do whatever it takes to find him.
The magic of all this is that we already know that Gustavo will not be discovered and that the Salamancas will still be alive in the times of “Breaking Bad”.

So, the question to be resolved here is only one: What will happen to Nacho and Lalo?
A grand finale is coming
Saul Goodman’s story will come to a resolution and these first two episodes prove to be possibly the best season yet.
With all the characters put in complicated situations, the plot seems to go faster and the surprises will not be long in coming.
YOU CAN SEE: “Better call Saul”: why is the series unfairly underrated?
What happened to Kim Wexler and Saul Goodman? Where did Nacho Varga and Lalo Salamanca end up?
Two great questions that fans of “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” will be able to answer in the next chapters.
What does Better Call Saul mean?
“Better Call Saul”, the name of the “Breaking Bad” spin-off series can be translated as “Better call Saul”, a phrase used by the Albuquerque lawyer in his famous commercials.
What happens to Saul in “Breaking Bad”?
After associating with Walter White, alias Heisenberg, Saul Goodman manages to benefit from a large sum of money, but like his partner, his empire falls and he is forced to flee Albuquerque. So, he goes to Nebraska, where he adopts the name of Gene Takovic, the manager of a Cinnabon store.
