Refugees from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) talked about the timing of receiving financial assistance from the Russian government. They revealed the details in an interview with a Lenta.ru correspondent.
According to them, representatives of the Russian authorities warned that it would take about a week from filing an application to receiving money.
Funds are provided in non-cash form. To receive them, you must have an account in a Russian bank. The authorities promised to help open accounts for those refugees who do not have them.

The amount of payment will be 10 thousand rubles. Russian President Vladimir Putin promised material support to the arriving refugees. They were allocated from the federal budget, the funds have already been brought to the Ministry of Labor of the Rostov Region, said the first deputy head of the region, Igor Guskov.
The evacuation of residents of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics to Russia was announced on February 18. This decision was made due to the aggravation of the conflict on the line of contact in the Donbass.
