In an indictment sent to the SP Justice, the Public Ministry denounced Demétrius Oliveira de Macedo for femicide
The Justice of São Paulo accepted this Tuesday (28.Jun.2022) a complaint from the Public Ministry of São Paulo against prosecutor Demétrius Oliveira de Macedo, arrested for assaulting a co-worker at the City Hall of Registro (SP).
With the decision, Demetrius becomes a defendant for attempted femicide. The court gave the prosecutor 10 days to respond to the accusation.
The decision is by Judge Raphael Ernane Neves, from the 1st Registry Court. In the decision, the judge says that “the Public Ministry presented a sufficient description of the criminal facts related to the offense to bodily integrity”.
In the complaint made by the MP, obtained by the g1the agency classifies the occurrence as “obvious homicidal intent” and said that Demetrius would not have carried out the murder for “extraneous circumstances”.

Prosecutor Demétrius Oliveira Macedo punched, on Monday (20.jun) also prosecutor Gabriela de Barros, inside the city hall of the municipality of Registro.
Macedo, who was removed from his position, assaulted his colleague after she opened a disciplinary process against his conduct in the work environment. In a statement, the prosecutor’s defense said that he suffers from psychotic breaks.
