Jorge Prado will start the Motocross Trentino GP in second position having taken that same place in the qualifying race behind Gajser. A sleeve in which the man from Lugo launched himself from the fall of fences to the ‘holeshot’ ahead of the Sling official of Mitchell Evans. He led the GasGas until he went long in a curve and the Australian took advantage of it to command again. A momentary leadership because it arrived Tim Gajser like a missile from behind to get rid of the Spaniard and his partner and fly to the finish line.
Before, the Slovenian and leader of the World Cup, had to surpass Glenn Coldenhoff first and Ruben Fernandez, later. He did it impeccably for Honda, with the temperance of a champion. The man from Vigo, for his part, once again, had a rough qualifying race and couldn’t finish. He had an accident colliding with Brian Bogers’ Husqvarna and had to retire. He will play a comeback from the rear positions of the group for a rider who must always be in the Top-10 and who is weighed down by crashes at this start of the championship.
At the front, Gajser’s triumph was incontestable. As was the second position of Meadowwho after being relegated by the two Hondas, the Slovenian and Evans, to third place he recovered and overtook the Australian. There was no time left for more and the man from Lugo finished second behind the red plate.
