SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Petrobras plans to invest 68 billion dollars between 2022 and 2026, a significant increase compared to the previous multi-year business plan, as it reinforces contributions to expand oil production in the pre-salt, according to a relevant fact released this Wednesday.
In the previous plan, announced last year, Petrobras had projected 55 billion dollars between 2021 and 2025, making in that opportunity a 27% reduction in the estimate of multiannual contributions to preserve cash in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
