Eight paratroopers were taken to hospital for a check-up. Six of them were slightly injured and were able to continue participating in the exercise today. Two others suffered fractures and tears to the joints. They had to stop participating.
Captain Gino Clocheret denies that anything fundamentally went wrong. “Such an incident is part of skydiving. A hard landing with minor injuries occurs regularly,” Clocheret nuances, who emphasizes that no soldier was seriously injured.
