the mayor Sandra Cuevas will be sanctioned for avoiding measures against an irregular work in the Juárez neighborhood, as confirmed by the Environmental and Territorial Planning Office (PAOT).
“The owner of the Mayor Cuauhtemoc has been remiss in carrying out the execution of the sentence”, stressed the PAOT through its social networks about the order of a judge to demolish the bar installed on the roof of Toledo 39, in the Colonia Juarez.
“For what the Court of Administrative Justice (TJA) imposed a fine on him and warned him of arrest if he was reluctant in his omission to comply,” said the capital institution.
This, because the building has eight floors when the Purban development program of Cuauhtémoc establishes a maximum of five levels, so the excess heights must be demolished, a measure that the Mayor’s Office has not exercised so far, for which the fine was imposed for 50 UMAs (Measurement and Updating Unit), around 13 thousand pesos, or 36 hours of arrest if the omission continues.
“The PAOT advised and issued various technical opinions, which concluded that the construction and the Toledo Rooftop establishment, located on the roof, does not conform to the zoning,” he concluded.
