Around 6000 new diagnoses a year and only 40% of women have a chance of survival. It is the incidence of ovarian cancer, a pathology that is as important as it is still little known. These are alarming data, which highlight a lack of diagnosis. Therefore, on the occasion of World Ovarian Cancer Day on 8 May, the institutions underline their commitment to gathering the requests of the scientific community and patient associations in order to improve the quality of life and survival of women; in this sense, the associations speak of the importance of scientific research regarding early diagnosis.
