“The selection has been based on the potential shown this season to be in the top 16 in the Olympic Games with the best in the world.

Biathletes were chosen Mari Eder, Olli Hiidensalo and Tero Seppälä as well as those selected included snowboarders Enni Rukajärvi, Kalle Järvilehto and Rene Rinnekangas.
“Officially, we don’t have any places yet for hockey, cross-country skiing and figure skating. In most sports, the places will only be confirmed after the qualifying period ending on January 17, but the qualifying situation for the selected athletes is already clear that we were able to nominate them.”
