Nintendo keep bringing news switchand if you are a person with OCD who is desperate to have everything messed up, we have good news for you.
A new patch recently implemented on the console now allows you to organize your games into folders so you don’t have to go through your entire library each time.
This feature of version 14.0.0 of the switch it works for both internal and external storage, so you won’t have to worry.
The way of operation of this new function is relatively simple, since you only have to enter ‘All Software’ and press L to show the games in groups.
To create a new one, you will only have to select the corresponding option in your switch and then select the titles you want to include.
At this point you can order them to your liking, and when everything is ready you can even give the folder a name.
In total you can create 100 groups with a maximum of 200 games, although few will need such storage capacity.
Nintendo Switch folders are not perfect
It’s cool that you can organize your favorite games this way, but we’re sorry to say that the folders won’t be visible from the main screen, only from the option that shows you all the titles you own.
This will take you through a few menus before you find what you’re looking for, and it’s really not a big deal.
This patch not only brings this great solution to your organization problems, it also improves the options of Bluetooth audio devices and now you will be able to control the volume from the console.
