“I can’t believe it, it’s been a great year and I’m very happy with the way I’ve played, so consistently, much more than in previous years. Now I am happy because the round is over and I can celebrate”, assured Echavarría to Golf Channel.
“I think my mom must be crying with happiness right now, it was a great round of golf and I’m really happy with the way I did it. I cannot express how happy I am right now. I am very grateful to my work group, my caddy, my coach and the whole team”, she concluded.

Nicolás started the finals of the Korn Ferry Tour located in 41st place and, despite having missed the cut in the penultimate event of the year, he achieved the objective with which he entered this phase of the competition, in which he could only win, which which allowed him to risk a little more.
With the tie for fifth place in the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, Nicolás equaled his best result so far in 2022, after having been in the same position during the Club Car Championship. Meanwhile, he has totaled 24 events played, 17 cuts made and nearly $200,000 in earnings.
With his arrival at the PGA, Echavarría becomes the fourth Colombian to achieve this merit behind Eduardo Herrera, Camilo Villegas and Juan Sebastián Muñoz.
