Mortal Kombat 11 It is one of the best installments in the series. This title enjoyed several years of support, a couple of versions, and great commercial success. However, last year it was revealed that NetherRealm, the studio in charge of the franchise, would stop producing content for this game, in order to focus on its next project. Although many pointed out that it was injustice 3, a recent leak has pointed out that this mysterious development could well be Mortal Kombat 12.
Recently, Jonathan Andersen, producer of the series, published a suspicious image, where we can see conceptual art of the original Mortal Kombat, its sequel, and Injustice 2. But nevertheless, at the top you can see that the monitor reads “MK12_Mast…” Alongside this, messages from “our fans scour the internet for any sign of…” and “be careful with this material.”
This has given rise to the theory that this information was not “leaked” by mistake, but it is a way of insinuating the existence of Mortal Kombat 12, but without announcing this project. In other words, it is a way of exciting the public. Regardless of whether it was a deliberate premature “reveal” or not, Andersen deleted the photo shortly after sharing it, supporting the idea that this installment will come in the future.
On related topics, it has been confirmed that a sequel to the most recent film by Mortal Kombat is already in development. In the same way, the characters of this series could reach MultiVersus.
Editor’s note:
This leak has a number of suspiciously clear details. Although it is possible that the photo was an error on the part of the producer of the series, including messages that allude to the tenacity of the internet when searching for information, as well as clearly MK12, could well indicate that the official reveal of this game is only a couple of months away.
