We will still have to put a patch on it, but the Argentine MotoGP Grand Prix looks set to go on. The freighter carrying the teams’ missing material is on schedule, so the crates should arrive in Termas de Rio Hondo around midnight.
For this reason, after having already canceled the Friday program and modified the Saturday one, a new program has been drawn up, designed to give more time to the premier class teams to work and set up everything.
Moto3 and Moto2 will open the dances when in Argentina it will be 8:15 am (1:15 pm in Italy), which will immediately compete in both free practice sessions at their disposal, obviously alternating on the track. The two sessions will be extended by 10 minutes compared to the standard ones, so they will last 50. The cumulative classification of these two rounds will decide the framework of the drivers who will enter Q2 directly.
At 12:35 local time it will therefore be the turn of the MotoGP, which contrary to what was announced yesterday, will complete only two free practice sessions, but lasting one hour and we will have the traditional 45 minutes. FP2, which will take place after Moto3 and Moto2 qualifying and will end at 16:40 local time, will then designate the framework of the 10 riders who will have direct access to Q2, with Q1 starting at 17:05 local time (in Italy will be 22:05).
As for Sunday, the Warm-Up program changes further, which is brought forward to start at 9:20 local time (14:20 in Italy), to allow for the extension of the MotoGP one, which will last 40 minutes. The races, on the other hand, will keep the same times that had been foreseen from the beginning, with the premier class that will start when in Italy it will be 20.
