Moldova’s political field is divided between pro-EU, pro-unionists and pro-Russian and pro-Russian. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe, where relations with Russia are central and sensitive. For example, the country, like many other countries, has not joined the EU-US foreclosure against Russia.
In addition, in the eastern part of Moldova lies the Transnistrian Autonomous Region, which runs through the Russian Leash, and is a hundred kilometers away from Odessa, Ukraine.
