His Highness said yesterday: “Today the UAE is launching a new season of the annual national tourism campaign (The Most Beautiful Winter in the World)… The UAE is witnessing a large tourist influx because of its beautiful atmosphere… its natural resources… its architectural treasures… its cultural landmarks… and above all that.” Its kind and hospitable people.”

In its previous cycle, the campaign continued to achieve tangible positive results, compared to its first cycle, as it achieved an increase in the third cycle by 8% compared to the second edition, reaching 1.4 million tourists.
The number of people reached by the campaign around the world reached 190 million, and views of the campaign content reached 159 million.

The Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Emirates Tourism Council, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, said: “The launch of the campaign (The Most Beautiful Winter in the World) represents a continuation of the efforts made in all the emirates of the country, to continue improving the various components of the tourism sector and build on the achievements achieved in previous years, during which the Emirates consolidated its position.” Al-Riyadiya is one of the best tourist destinations regionally and globally, as the various tourism sectors achieved high performance rates and were able to outperform many global tourism markets.”
He stressed that the UAE tourism sector continues its exceptional performance in light of the sound vision of the wise leadership and its interest in developing this vital sector, as it is one of the strategic sectors for building the economy of the future and shifting towards a new economic model.
The UAE tourism sector achieved promising performance indicators, as revenues from hotel establishments in the country rose to 32.2 billion dirhams during the period from January to September of 2023, a growth rate of 27%, compared to the same period in 2022, and the number of hotel establishment guests reached 20.2 million guests during the same period. A growth rate of 12%, compared to the same period in 2022.
The hotel occupancy rate reached 75% during the first nine months of last year, with a growth rate of 6% compared to the same period in 2022.
The UAE offers a comprehensive and diverse tourism product, including eco-tourism, due to its natural sites, reserves, oases and mountains that turn into a green paradise in the winter.
