With patch 1.18.2, Mojang fixed a bug from Minecraft that was in the game from nearly ten yearsthat is from at least 2012. It was nothing compromising, since it was a small graphic glitch, but evidently someone has finally found the time to solve it, to the delight of those who have found it in front of them for years and years.
What did it consist of? It was simply a visual distortion of the water blocks. Placing a block of water diagonally to another, there was a strange distortion of the same, as visible in the image below.
As we said, it was nothing dramatic and you could live very well even so, but it’s nice to see that update after update even some historical problems are addressed and resolved positively.
For the rest, patch 1.18.2 fixes other bugs in the game, in preparation for the launch of the Wild update with patch 1.19, which will introduce new content and who knows, maybe even new bugs.
