A Moroccan Dutchman who has been detained in Spain for six weeks because he is said to be a threat to national security, went on hunger strike last weekend in protest. His lawyers Samira Sabir and Teresa Martin Raymondi have raised the alarm with the Dutch and Spanish authorities. Their client was allegedly arrested on the basis of incorrect information while he was on his way to Morocco with his wife. “He now lives between hope and fear.”
