More than 6,000 people attended his vibrant live concert
did not disappoint. The singer Manolo García, former member of The Last of the Row, thrilled more than 6,000 Lorca who attended his concert on the esplanade of the Artés Carrasco football stadium on Saturday night.
An audience of three generations gathered around the figure of the Catalan artist, who put on stage some of his most classic songs, such as ‘Insurrection’, with which he opened the show, ‘Pájaros de barro’ or ‘A San Fernando, un a little while on foot and another walking’ and who also presented some of the new songs he composed for his last two albums, ‘Mi vida en Marte’ and ‘Desatinos deplumados’ and winked at flamenco.
García proved to be in top form and starred in a brilliant show in which he made constant gestures of complicity with the public, whom he approached as he came down from the stage. The attendees sang the singer’s greatest hits and he ended the show with the ranchera ‘El Rey’ after almost three hours of concert.
