09.55 – Pedro Acosta (KTM) is fine and has returned to the pits. The fall was really heavy and underlines once again the importance of air fences to cushion impacts. Only a small bruise on the jaw for the Spaniard.
The Warm Up will not resume, this is the ranking:
Red flag – Session suspended 53 seconds from the end due to damage caused by the air fences at Turn 7.
09.48 – Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini, SM) is the new leader in 1'37.943, second is Bastianini (Ducati, SM), third Jack Miller (KTM, SM). Bad fall for Pedro Acosta (KTM, SM) in Turn 7: bike and rider against the air fences. Fortunately, the Spaniard got up again.
Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) also fell a little further ahead, in Turn 8.

MotoGP in Jerez: it's race day
Good morning dear readers of FormulaPassion.it and enjoy reading the textual chronicle of Warm Up and the Spanish Grand Prix of Jerez de la Frontera of the MotoGP classfourth race of the 2024 world championship. The last stage of the premier class format is the traditional Sunday race, which will start at 2:00 pm.

The 12 laps of the Sprint on Saturday saw Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac) win, ahead of Pedro Acosta (KTM GasGas) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha).
