The Sovetsky District Court of Kazan has chosen a measure of restraint for the head of the Center for Information Technologies, Communications and Information Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan, Lieutenant Colonel Lenar Samigullin, against whom a criminal case has been initiated on taking bribes. The policeman was placed under house arrest until March 12. He, according to investigators, took 175,000 rubles as a bribe from a representative of a Moscow company for assistance in concluding contracts for the supply of radio communication systems for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan.
Samigullin was charged with two episodes, during interrogation he admitted his guilt.
On December 24, 2021, it was reported that an employee of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow was detained for taking a bribe from a witness in a criminal case. The policeman promised not to involve him as a defendant in the case of illegal banking. For his help, the Interior Ministry officer first demanded three million dollars, but then agreed to three million rubles.
