A few weeks after his 51st birthday, Japanese footballer Kazuyoshi Miura signed an extension of his contract with J-League Yokohama FC and is positioned as one of the oldest players in the world. Learn about his career and that of other footballers who have extended their careers.

Kazuyoshi Miura – 54 years: You don’t see your age as a problem. On the contrary, he sees it as an opportunity to improve his skills as a footballer. He currently plays at Suzuka Point Getters, Japan’s fourth division.
He began his career at the age of 19 and has been through clubs in South America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
