The exhibition “Unfinished Works of Utopian Cannibalism” was presented by its author, the painter Juan Tun Naal, who was accompanied by a good number of friends, who expressed their congratulations.
The catalog consists of more than 100 piecesincluding paintings from years ago and from just 2022 according to the painter himselfwho shared that among the paintings there is a mixture of art from other artists such as: Cy Rendon, Erick Perez, Ramses Ruiz, Ana Tatti and Juan Carlos Lunasince avant-garde themes and terms, the third world, luxury, underdevelopment, colonialism, faith, among others, are addressed.
I am always looking for new ideas to capture them: in fact, that is why the theme Utopian Cannibalism refers to cultural cannibalism; bone to take something or even borrow cannibalize the things that are around us”, said the artist, who said that several of the works date back 20 years.
The package of works will be exhibited until November 20 in a gallery on the street carnival 1511from Thursday to Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with free admission.
