“I got the song about a week early and did everything I could…it’s crazy because it was my first day with COVID-19 so it was horrible to film it”the young woman confessed in an interview with NME.
Ortega confessed that that morning he woke up with intense pain in his body. “I felt like I was hit by a car and that a leprechaun had come loose in my throat and scratched the walls of my esophagus”, he counted.

Jenna had the symptoms at the time, so she was tested to see if she had the infection or not. “They were giving me medicine between takes because we were waiting for the positive result”, he explained.
According to MGM, the producer behind “Merlina”at all times “strict COVID-19 protocols were followed and, when the positive test was confirmed, the production removed Jenna from the set.”
Likewise, Ortega confessed that, after finishing the recording of the dance scene, he was not entirely satisfied. “I asked to redo itbut we didn’t have time. I think he probably could have done a little better,” she recalled.
