The Model Year 2024 of Jeep Renegade is now available at dealerships, presenting a significant innovation: “pure” internal combustion engines are no longer available gas And diesel. The 2024 Renegade is now offered exclusively with full hybrid powertrains e-Hybrid And 4xe plugin.
The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV, 4.24 meters long, 1.81 meters wide And 1.67 meters tall, designed to accommodate up to 5 passengers. Its trunk offers a capacity of 351 litres under normal conditions, extendable up to 1,227 litres folding down the rear seats.
On the plug-in version, the capacity is reduced by 20 litres. Despite the passing of the years, the design of the Renegade remains unchanged, maintaining its commercial popularity. For 10 years on the market, it has won the trust of almost 2 million motorists all over the world.
2024 Renegade interior with new infotainment
The new infotainment system on board the 2024 Jeep Renegade features notable improvements in several aspects. With processing power 5 times higher in terms of MIP, it ensures instant feedback, faster route calculations and rapid voice responses.
Additionally, the Renegade's new infotainment features a larger 10.1-inch Full HD display, which increases the viewing surface by 40%, with crystal-clear and vibrant images. The instrument panel is also digital, with an increased size 10.25 inches.
Thanks to the new infotainment system, there are simpler connected services, which allow natural interaction between the application information and the infotainment system. The opening/closing of the doors and the turning on of the lights can be managed via the remote function of the app on your smartphone, eliminating the need for car keys.
Updating navigation maps Tom Tom happens “over the air”. Voice commands support navigation, weather forecast, parking search and charging stations. There is also a voice assistant on board the Renegade 2024 Amazon Alexa.
Jeep Renegade, engines
As the Compass, the Renegade Jeep also opted for hybrid powertrains. The Model Year is therefore only available in 48 Volt mild-hybrid versions e-Hybrid 1.5 Turbo with 130 HP And 240 HP plug-in hybrid 4xewith an 11.4 kWh battery that allows an autonomy of approx 40km in fully electric mode. The 2024 model year introduces updated engine and battery adjustments on both powertrains, along with 18″ tires aimed at reducing consumption and emissions by approximately 5%.
As regards declared consumption (WLTP), they are included between 5.7 and 6.1 litres/100 km on the e-Hybrid version e between 1.8 and 2.1 litres/100 km on the plug-in hybrid 4xe.
Jeep Renegade 2024 range and trim levels
The new Jeep Renegade 2024 offers a renewed range with five trim levels: Renegade, Altitude, Summit, Overland and Trailhawk. The basic version includes 16″ alloy wheels, the mild-hybrid powertrain and all the new features introduced by the 2024 version, including the new infotainment system, the new steering wheel and the new A+C USB port.
The setup Altitude as standard it has Full LED headlights and front lights, LED front fog lights and LED daytime running lights. It also features 17″ alloy wheels and roof bars. As standard there is automatic climate control, automatic high beam headlights, automatic electrically folding rear-view mirrors, an electrochromic rear-view mirror and parking sensors. On the PHEV version there is also pre-conditioning, the Selec-Terrain and the Mode 3 charging cable.
The level Summit It adds 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats and a heated leather steering wheel, windshield wipers and carpeted floor mats. The version Overlandoff-road oriented, has 17-inch alloy wheels, M+S tyresoff-road specific bumpers and black mirror caps, with the new rear camera and 40/20/40 split rear seats.
There Trailhawk, finally, the top of the range version features underbody protection as standard, Selec-Terrain with Sport and Rock modesred tow hook, spare wheel 215/60 R17fabric seats, adjustable load floor, all-season interior mats and specific decal on the bonnet.
Jeep Renegade price
The price of the new Jeep Renegade MY 2024 has not yet been officially communicated, but we can assume a cost of approximately 34,000 euros for the e-Hybrid version and of 43,000 euros for the 4xe plug-in.
