Jazz historian, Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Feyertag died in St. Petersburg at the age of 92. This was announced on Thursday, March 28, by the artistic director of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic of Jazz Music, People's Artist of Russia David Goloshchekin.

Vladimir Feyertag was born on December 27, 1931 in Leningrad, the TV channel notes “360”. Vladimir Feyertag went down in history as the country's largest and most authoritative historian and popularizer of jazz. Since 1976, he has been a teacher of the history of jazz and popular music at the Leningrad Music School. From 1978 to 1992, he was the artistic director and host of the Leningrad jazz festival “Autumn Rhythms,” notes NSN.
