The Colombian ’10’ played just over twenty minutes this weekend.

The Colombian soccer player was surprised in the first session with coach Nicolás Córdova.

In the Al Rayyan winds of change blow. This weekend French coach Laurent Blanc, champion with France as a player in the 1998 World Cup, was dismissed after the team tied against Al Sailiya in the Qatar league.

A few hours after that announcement, the Chilean Nicolás Cordova, another former soccer player, was appointed. Under his baton, this Monday the team in which he plays James Rodríguez made his first training facing the duel he will have this Tuesday vs. the Umm Salal, for the Emir’s Cup. And although in theory the development of the practice should have been news, what caught the most attention was the attitude with which the Colombian soccer player arrived on the pitch.

Al Rayyan’s social media team posted a video showing all the club’s players arriving for practice this Monday.

In the record, most greet the camera in unique ways. However, James Rodríguez, his main star, seemed unaware that he was being filmed and said, “Don’t say we’re already started”.

(Also: Juan Fernando Quintero: there is medical news in River Plate).

Then, in the same footage, the talented midfielder is seen getting ready during the session.

Al Rayyan’s next match will be this Tuesday at 11:30 amColombian hour.
