JP: a center to combat anti-Semitism may be opened at Goebbels’ villa
A center to combat anti-Semitism may open at the villa of the Minister of Propaganda of the Third Reich Joseph Goebbels. This proposal was made by the European Jewish Association (EJA), writes Jerusalem Post (JP).
Representatives of the organization stated that they are ready to consider purchasing the mansion if a center to combat anti-Semitism is opened within its walls in the future. “If the mansion that belonged to history’s worst mind engineer is turned into a center for political psychology, communication and the fight against hatred, this will be an important moral victory,” the association explained.

According to the head of the organization, Rabbi Menachem Margolin, this initiative is more relevant than ever. “Ninety-one years have passed since the Nazis came to power, and the free world once again faces a wave of discrimination. Racial hatred is growing thanks to manipulation, poisonous propaganda, malice and virtual reality technologies put in the service of destruction and violence. Let’s make sure that the abode of absolute evil becomes a center of good,” the publication quotes the chairman of the association. The Berlin Ministry of Finance has been informed of EJA’s intentions.
Earlier, the authorities of the European capital announced the search for new owners for Goebbels’ villa near Berlin. The estate will be given away for free, subject to restoration – about 280 thousand euros are spent annually on its maintenance.
