The words of the mother of little Tommy Onofri
His memory still lives in the heart of his mother, who today finds herself alone in having to to face life.
Suddenly the light went out, my husband thought about a problem with the control unit. As soon as he opened the door he was pushed, they went in and they put me in a corner. I tried to take the baby but I couldn’t. My husband tied up on the stairs. After that it was like entering another dimension. I didn’t understand why things only seen in movies were happening to me. I was dizzy, on sedatives.
How did I get on? Sometimes I ask myself. But I remember that the first thing I thought when they found Tommaso was’ Keep me on my feet, I have too many responsibilities ”. Then I passed out. I am not ashamed to say that I have had psychotherapy sessions. And then there is my son Seba. I did everything to give him peace of mind. I keep my pain, but I wish that besides the damage there was no insult. I want them to serve their entire sentence.
These are the words of Paola Pellegrini, 10 years after the death of her son. Today it’s been 16 and the pain is still there and accompanies her every day. Little Tommy keeps on live in his heart and in that of the whole of Italy.
