A trio near Conjunto Nacional, on Avenida Paulista, brought together federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), senator Marcos do Val (Podemos-ES) and even Allan dos Santos. The latter, who is a fugitive in the United States, by telephone.
The group is in a trio distant from the main one, which includes former president Jair Bolsonaro, federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) and pastor Silas Malafaia. Zambelli distanced himself from the Bolsonaro clan due to disagreements in recent years. Do Val also does not have the closest relationship with Bolsonaro and had already been barred from the trio at the event on February 25.
The fiery speeches were highlighted by calls for the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. Zambelli, for example, was wearing a T-shirt with the phrase: “Moraes Out.”
In his speech, Senator Val, investigated by the STF for attempted coup, stated that he expects the arrest of Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
“You can record what I’m saying. In two years, Alexandre de Moraes will be in jail,” he said. He stated that the Brazilian Supreme Court minister will be taken to Guantanamo, a prison for terrorists.
Do Val claimed to have accessed several documents about alleged illegalities by Moraes in leading investigations at the Court, without presenting any evidence. “Many people think I’m not making sense. But I accessed the documents. You can’t even imagine,” he said.
Sebastião Coelho, a retired judge from the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT), said that Moraes committed several crimes. He said that if the Federal Senate does not move forward with the impeachment request, Brazil should stop and demand the act.
