According to updated data, five people were injured in an accident with an intercity bus with 40 passengers in the cabin, which overturned on the federal highway R-255 Siberia near the village of Kutulik, Irkutsk Region. He announced this on August 28 in his Telegram channel Governor Igor Kobzev.
“Out of 40 passengers, according to updated data, five were injured, including one minor. They all underwent the necessary examinations, including computed tomography. Doctors diagnosed a fracture of the collarbone, bruises of the chest, spine and soft tissues, ”Kobzev specified.
The governor added that the Investigative Committee began a pre-investigation check. She is qualified under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – the performance of work or the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the bus, which followed the route Ust-Kut – Irkutsk, did not see warning signs about road works, drove into a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Earlier it was reported that seven people were injured in a traffic accident, including a 17-year-old teenager.
