In Italy 7,975 new cases and 65 deaths. Rate at 2.9%: the bulletin

The swabs and the scenario

THE total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 276,000, or 236,592 less than yesterday when it was 512,592. While the positivity rate rises to 2.9% (the approximation of 2.889%); yesterday it was 2.5%. Here is the map of the contagion in Italy.

Less infections in 24 hours than yesterday. It happens every Monday due to fewer swabs (they are those processed on Sunday, half the day before), with a consequent increase in the case-to-test ratio (this also happens every Monday). Thus, as usual, the curve touches the lowest point of its weekly swing. The trend remains on the rise and can be seen from the comparison with last Monday (November 22) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +6,404 cases with a positive rate of 2.3%: today, in fact, there are more new infections than that day, with a higher percentage (2.9% versus 2.3%).

Three regions with over a thousand new infected: the Veneto which communicates +1,265 cases thanks to 33,000 swabs (3.7% rate), theEmilia Romagna which marks +1.223 cases (rate 6%) and the Lazio which records +1,121 cases (rate 3.7%). To have processed the largest number of regional analyzes of the day on Piedmont which thanks to 45 thousand tests found +456 positives (rate 1%). In Lombardy, on the other hand, there are +851 infections with 44 thousand tampons (rate 1.9%).

The victims

There are 65 victims in the bulletin against 47 the day before. At least three previous deaths were included in the count: one in Campania and two in Sicily, as indicated by the notes below. Five regions / provinces have zero bereavement: these are Puglia, Tuscany, Molise, Valle d’Aosta and the province of Trento. While the highest number of deaths in Campania (11, one of which is a previous one).

The health system

The increase in hospitalizations continues in every area. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m +171 (yesterday +138), for a total of 5,135 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive care (TI) are +31 (yesterday +14) – this is the balance between the people who left and those who entered ICU -, bringing the total of the most seriously ill patients to 669, with 58 admissions to resuscitation (yesterday 39).

The Abruzzo Region announces that the data relating to positive cases, people tested and swabs processed could be partial and incomplete. A temporary and unexpected malfunction, outside the control of the Regional Administration, which occurred between 15.00 and 22.00 on 27/11, did not allow the acquisition of all the tests carried out in the reported time interval. Any information that may be lacking will be realigned once the current technical difficulties have been overcome.

The Campania Region announces that the daily survey shows that one of the deaths recorded today dates back to 11/26/2021.

The Emilia-Romagna Region announces that 3 cases have been eliminated from the total of cases, positive for antigen test but not confirmed by molecular swab.
