The second day of the UAE Careers Vision 2022 exhibition, yesterday in Dubai, witnessed immediate interviews for job seekers in preparation for joining the jobs nominated for them during the coming period.
The exhibition was characterized by a great response from the registration of job seekers, considering their desires and comparing them with the current needs of the authorities, and working to respond directly if the qualifications and capabilities of the applicant match the requirements of the targeted jobs.
Many agencies provided details of the jobs available to them to job seekers who are qualified to fill these jobs.
The people of determination gained the attention of the participating employers in the exhibition, as the representatives of the entities assisted the people of determination in filling out employment forms and identifying the jobs they could occupy.
According to the “Union” field tour in the exhibition currently held at the Dubai World Trade Center, jobs related to the banking sector and engineering jobs are on top of the jobs offered by job seekers.
Many job seekers, especially recent graduates, welcomed joining the private sector, especially at the beginning, so that they could obtain the necessary expertise, stressing at the same time the importance of their employment in line with the academic qualifications they obtained.
The participating entities in the exhibition provided many modern jobs and specializations to attract young national competencies, such as artificial intelligence, data science, organizational flexibility, data analysis, in addition to the various engineering disciplines and leadership positions.
Aspirations and hopes

For his part, the 25-year-old citizen, Ali Abdul Rahman Al-Mannai, an electrical engineering graduate, confirmed that the Emiratisation decisions issued at the beginning of this year will help job seekers find a job.
Al-Mannai, who has been working in a government agency for 4 years, wished that the employer he joined would provide training and rehabilitation, and work in the field that suits his academic specialization.
Emiratisation rates

He stated that five years ago, there was interest in Emiratisation at Commercial Bank of Dubai, and during this period the number of Emiratis increased by between 40 and 50 percent, noting that the bank had a program called “Ambition” to attract new graduates, in which a person gets 5,000 dirhams since being accepted for a job. In the bank, for a period of several months during which the arrangement is made to fill the position and the necessary procedures are completed.
He said, “When the job is actually occupied, the salary will be 3 or 4 times the amount that he was getting a bonus at the beginning.”
