Sharjah (WAM)
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, said: “The summit of Mount Dim was chosen to establish a rest stop in the city of Kalba instead of the summit of Mount Kitaba; Due to its easy accessibility, low construction cost, and splendid view from above, as it overlooks the sea, revealing the entire city, in addition to the possibility of establishing facilities there, which will include a sports forum, a camping hotel and a residential investment project, in addition to the wonderful view embodied by the fruit farms that will be established in the region,” His Highness described this break as “a gift to Kalba.”
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi said – in a telephone interview on the “Al Khat Line” program, which is broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television – we had previously chosen the highest mountain peak in the city of Kalba to create a rest stop, which is the summit of Mount Kataba, which is about 1050 meters high. , but then we replaced it with the summit of Mount Dim, for many reasons, including the difficulty of reaching the top of Mount Kitaba not because it is very high, but due to the nature of the mountain, which requires the construction of bridges at a high cost to pave access to it, and it does not overlook a view that displays the city of Kalba, but rather offers Just a few mountains. His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah added: “At the time when these obstacles were revealed to us, we found that the summit of Mount Dim is easy to reach, and it sees the entire city of Kalba, overlooking the sea clearly, and the temperature is low, and its height is 850 meters, so there is no difference between the summit Mount Kitaba and the summit of Mount Dim in terms of reaching the clouds. The clouds are always at a height of 600 meters. The clouds collide with the mountain at a height of 600 meters and then climb over the mountain in a beautiful scene. Thus, we have achieved what we seek without bothering to reach the top of the mountain, as well as without cost.”
His Highness said: “Just as the summit of Mount Kataba, we cannot build anything else on it, while in the south of the Jebel Dim resting site, we will build a vital center consisting of a football field on a large area, and a hotel to receive teams that want to camp or camp there, this will be the place An alternative to Europe even in the summer months; Due to the low temperature in this location.
His Highness explained that work is now underway on the design, and this work is a “gift to Kalba.” Water is drawn from it directly to the crops, and the area will include an investment project for those wishing to live there. On the importance of belonging to the land and the homeland, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah said: These are countries whose people must be proud of, and every person must be proud of his country, and belongs to the land that surrounds him. The beginning and the other constitute the end, for the mother carries the son in her womb until when he grows up, she puts him on her back, while the earth carries the human being on her back and then embraces him in her womb, and in that God Almighty said in Surah Taha: “From it We created you, and in it We shall return you, and from your bottom.”
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, concluded his speech by saying: “We wish goodness and success for all and stability and tranquility for all countries – God willing – for God Almighty bestows blessings on human beings in all circumstances, even in the most difficult ones. We find His kindness surrounds us as well as His mercy, which expanded everything, as we notice the news now coming from floods to fires, earthquakes and wars, and we thank God very much for his blessings and kindness to his servants.
