Ice hockey | KooKoo acquired a well-known national team player from HIFK

Helsinki Defender known from IFK Christian Kåsastul returns to the SM league.

According to IS information, Kåsastul will be Koovola's KooKoo's man next season.

In the season that ended, the 27-year-old Kåsastul played in the Austrian multinational IceHL league, where he represented the Italian HC Pustertal. Kåsastul played 41 matches in Pustertal with an output of 3+7=10.

The Norwegian Kåsastul is remembered from the SM league as a HIFK man. He played 33 matches in IFK a year ago with an output of 1+9=10. In the playoffs, he fought in 12 matches and collected three assists.

Kåsastul has played for the Norwegian national team in three men's World Cups.

KooKoon the team is going to a new faith after last season. All management figures change when, for example, the coaching staff and the goalkeeper duo change. The team's leading stars also left Kouvola behind after the season ended.

KooKoo's new head coach is Joko Myrräwhose contract is model 2+1 years.
