His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, received at Al Nakhil Palace, Imran Ismail, Governor of Sindh Province in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. His Highness welcomed the ruler of Sindh, stressing the distinguished bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan, and the continuous keenness to strengthen and develop them in a way that achieves the common interests of the two countries and brings goodness to their peoples. During the meeting, they exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest. His Excellency Imran Ismail stressed that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with the UAE, and is keen to support and develop it to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. He expressed his thanks to the UAE for its permanent support for the Pakistani people in the various circumstances they have been through, and for establishing humanitarian and development projects in various sectors. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ahmed Matar Al Dhaheri, director of the office of His Highness the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra region, and Issa Hamad Bushhab, advisor to His Highness the President of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and Khadim Abdullah Al-Derai, co-founder and managing director of Al-Dhahirah Holding Company. On the Pakistani side, the meeting was also attended by Abdul Alim Khan, Minister of Food in the Punjab Government, and Afzal Mahmud Mirza Sultan Mahmud, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the country.
