What are the differences between the three versions of Gran Turismo 7?
Gran Turismo 7the new chapter in the driving saga developed by Polyphony Digitalwill be released in a few days exclusively for PS4 and PS5 as a tribute to the 25-year history of the series.
As usual before the launch of big titles, ElAnalistaDeBits has made a new video comparison in which we can see both the graphic differences and the performance of Gran Turismo on standard PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 with different configurations. Of course it should be noted that the comparison was made with patch 1.04 applied.
On the standard model, the title runs at 1080p and 60fps, while on PS5 we get to 60fps with a resolution of 2160p. It should be noted that in Sony’s new generation consoles we can find two display modes: the Performance mode, which gives priority to performance, or the Ray Tracing mode, which applies only to reflections in photo mode, in the cinematic camera of replays after the competitions and in some very specific menus. It is important to point out that no matter which mode you choose, the experience during gameplay will be the same.
The PS5 version has much shorter loading times than the PS4 models: on the next-gen system the races start in just 2 seconds, while on the PS4 you have to wait around 40 seconds. On PS5 the title has a greater draw distance, better shadow filtering, as well as a better implementation of ambient occlusion. In addition to this, the features of the DualSense also lead to a greater level of realism.
Gran Turismo 7 will be available from 4 March on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5: if you have not already done so, at this link you can take a look at our review.
